Baby Boomer Comedy Show- June 20th!

LCP will host THE BABY BOOMER COMEDY SHOW as a benefit for the Playhouse on June 20 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and may be reserved at or by calling 492-489-7529 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Fellow baby boomer and veteran comedians Kent Rader and Jan McInnis have joined to develop The Baby Boomer Comedy Show. This 90-minute theater event is filled with clean humor on topics the boomer generation can relate to- family, kids, work, do-it-yourself projects, dieting, aging, grandchildren and is perfect for the boomers and their families (this is clean comedy!).

Theatre Winter Haven, Winter Haven, FL, Executive Director, Norm Small had the following to say about The Baby Boomer Comedy Show, " A full house and an invitation to return is the best reference anyone can receive."

Rio Grande Theatre, Las Cruces, NM director, Kathleen Albers, "Doctors should forget the prescription meds and just make everyone go see The Baby Boomer Comedy Show! Laughter really is the best medicine, and Jan & Kent make you LOL. Our Las Cruces audience is begging me to bring them back."

The duo first appeared as a duo at LCP in 2010 and then decided to create THE BABY BOOMER COMEDY SHOW and have taken it around the country. Playhouse Executive Director, Morrie Enders, had this to say about the show after their Lincoln appearance:

"Kent Radar and Jan McInnis are a dynamic duo of comedy. Our audience was rolling as Kent and Jan hit humor home run after home run. The time flew by and the laughs never stopped. Baby boomers and the parents and children they brought with them laughed and laughed — not a swear word in the act to stifle the jokes. Kent and Jan are astute observers of life and put the comic spin and spotlight on the quirks of reality from office relationships to dealing with your kids. Rock solid comedy! "
