Thursday night, our Penguin Project Artists and Mentors reunited for "Don't Stop Believing," the song we perform together at the end of each rehearsal and performance.

Lincoln Community Playhouse is all about human connection.

We will be together again soon.

Don't Stop Believing.

The mission of the Lincoln Community Playhouse is to positively transform the lives of individuals and profoundly change our community by providing the finest quality theatre experience in both process and production.

OLLI/Playhouse Auditions – THE ROARING 20’S

OLLI/Playhouse Auditions – THE ROARING 20’S

The OLLI/Playhouse Radio Active Players will be holding auditions for THE ROARING 20’S: FOLLIES, SCANDALS AND VAUDEVILLE on Monday, September 9, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Playhouse. No appointment is necessary.

We need a few good men and women to celebrate The Roaring 20’s. Can’t sing or dance? No problem. If you are age 50 or older and can tell a joke, there’s hope! Bring sheet music or short jokes, dance, comedy routines or specialty acts. Soloists or groups are welcome.

No lines to memorize. Scripts will be provided. If you haven’t been in a show in years, or never been on stage, it’s about time! Our previous shows include USO SHOW, SENIOR SOCK HOP and DESTINY OF THE REPUBLIC. We’ve been playing to sold out houses and it is a lot of fun!

The show will be directed by Morrie Enders with Dorothy Applebee as music director and Leta Powell Drake as the OLLI liaison.

Rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, September 16-21, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Performances are Tuesday, October 29, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 30, at 2:00 p.m.
