Playhouse Announces Season 70

Lincoln Community Playhouse announces the slate of play titles for Season 70 (July 2015 – June 2016).

The shows are:

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe – July 24-26, July 30-August 2. A retelling of the C.S. Lewis classic about Narnia.

Sister Act – September 18-20, 24-27, October 2-4. The movie comedy hit in musical form tells of a nightclub singer on the lam in a convent.

You Can’t Take It With You – November 6-8, 12-15. The timeless comedy about a wacky family of free thinkers.

Peter Pan- December 4-6, 11-13, 18-20. Flying and pixie dust usher in the holiday season.

lower case – January 15-17, 21-24. A premiere of a comedy by local playwright, Steven Enersen.

Anne of Green Gables – February 12-14, 18-21. Visit Avonlea in this family musical.

To Kill a Mockingbird – April 1-3, 7-10. A trial rips apart the social fabric of a small Southern community.

Catch Me If You Can – May 13-15, 19-22. A swinging musical comedy about a teenager check forger who impersonates a pilot, doctor and lawyer.
