THE PHANTOM TOOLBOOTH JR. is a musical about a boy named Milo who is very bored. Nothing interests him at all. When his dresser transforms into a mysterious tollbooth, complete with a map and special instructions, he’s pulled from his boredom and thrust into a brand new imaginative world. Soon enough, he’s driving a car on the road to Expectations. But just where is that? And what is the Castle in the Air that everyone seems so hesitant to speak of?
Based on the children’s book by Norton Juster’s THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH JR. is an endearing show, with great roles for all involved and a story that audiences of all ages will find appealing.
