Barefoot in the Park

BAREFOOT IN THE PARK January 17-19 and 23-26 at Playhouse

Lincoln Community Playhouse will produce Neil Simon’s comedy, BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, on January 17-19 and 23-26 in the Studio Theatre. Tickets go on sale January 6 online at www.lincolnplayhouse.com or from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at 402-489-7529. Tickets are $20.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and seating is general admission in the Studio Theatre.

This Neil Simon classic comedy follows newlyweds, Corie and Paul, as they negotiate their first apartment with eccentric neighbors and a meddling mother. Corie is a free spirit who wants to run barefoot in the park while Paul is a stuffed shirt who presses his ties in a dictionary. They are about to learn there is a lot more to a marriage than the honeymoon!

The cast includes Megan Higgins, Jason Query, Constance Howard, Scott Clark, Walter McDowell III and Jesse Snider. Tom Crew directs with Kathleen Lorenzen as scenic designer, Mark Mesarch as lighting designer, Rachel Danay as costume designer, Vicky Austin as stage manager and Nick Turner as technical director.
