Patrons of A LITTLE HOUSE CHRISTMAS are encouraged to don their prairie garb and come to Prairie Day, an interactive look at the many aspects of prairie life.
Through a variety of stations, guests will be able to capture the essence of life on the prairie. Rachael Witter, weekend meteorologist from Channel 8 Eyewitness News, will share her knowledge about winter weather in the prairie. The Nebraska History Museum will be bringing a plethora of furs to discuss the fur trade. The Nebraska State Quilt Guild will also have a variety of quilts on hand.
We’ll also have an ornament creation station where guests can create ornaments to be hung on the tree in the lobby of the Playhouse. This event is free.
