Best Christmas Gallery Artist: Desiree Warren

The Enersen Gallery at Lincoln Community Playhouse will host a showing of art by Desiree Warren of Eighty Acres Art in Kansas City from December 9-18. All art is for sale with 40% of sales benefiting the Playhouse.

An opening night art show reception will be held on Friday, December 9th from 5:30-7:30 pm prior to the opening performance of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER. The artwork will be on display throughout the play’s run.

Warren’s notes "A life-long interest in stickers, collage, and found objects paired with a degree in sculpture and an aversion to a 9 to 5 job lead me to start my company Eighty Acres Art. Primarily I use cast-off street sign vinyl and acquired images from books, posters, and advertisements to create layered wall art that is both graphic and organic, shallow and deep. I most enjoy playing with color, shape, and proportion in my work to make unusual and interesting pieces."
