The Lincoln Community Playhouse TAFY series presents their Valentine Grade School Actor's Workshop on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Activities for the day are:

9:00am-10:30am-Costumes for Beginners-Students will design and create a t-shirt to wear as a costume for a show. Our helpful instuctor will guide you in the creative process to bring your ideas to life.

10:30am-12:00pm-The Three Little Pigs Go West Workshop-Students will work on scenes from this show and bring them to life. We will work on basic staging and character development to make these fun characters real.

12:00pm-1:00pm-Lunch and Theatre Games-Bring your own sack lunch and be prepared to participate in some fun games to stretch and build your imagination.

1:00pm-2:30pm-Backstage at LCP-Come explore the fascinating world of technical theatre. Students will make their own design model for The Three Little Pigs Go West through renderings and/or models.

2:30pm-4:00pm-Duet and Trio Scenes-Students will be exposed to how to work with others in putting together a small scene with one or two partners. We will work on basic staging techniques and acting techniques.

Cost for the day is $65 for Subscribers and $70 for Non-subscribers.
