The Lion King Jr - Auditions
Lincoln Community Playhouse will hold The Lion King Jr. auditions on Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7 from 5-9pm with Callbacks on Monday, January 8 from 6-9pm at the Playhouse. Sign up for a one-hour audition slot below.
Actors will be asked to sing 16-32 measures of a prepared musical theatre song not from The Lion King Jr. (bring sheet music, accompanist provided), will learn a short dance combination, and may be asked to read from the script.
Roles are available for actors ages 8 - high school freshman. Jane Schiermeyer Hansen will direct with music direction by Kristen Works and choreography by Ted Blessing. Stage management by Emily Moore.
Numerous roles available. The Lion King Jr. features a large, mixed gender ensemble with solo singing and speaking lines.
Rehearsal schedule is typically 6-9p Monday through Friday. Performances are March 1-4, 8-11.

TBD (To Be Determined) - Auditions
Lincoln Community Playhouse will hold auditions for the world premiere production of TBD (To Be Determined) by Paul Elliott on Monday, November 27, and Tuesday, November 28, with callbacks on Wednesday, November 29. Register for an audition slot below.
The Playhouse is committed to inclusive casting and roles are available for 4 women (ages 40’s–60’s), 1 trans female (ages 16-20) and 2 men (30’s–50’s). The play contains adult language and themes and actors are encouraged to check out a perusal script from the Playhouse box office (open 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) before auditions.
In this suspenseful drama, two isolated sisters take in a troubled teenager and find their world completely upended. Secrets are reveled, veneers stripped away and the three women must band together when evil arrives on the doorstep.
TBD (To Be Determined) was one of the winners of the American Association of Community Theatre New Play Fest and the Lincoln Community Playhouse will be presenting the world premiere. Morrie Enders will direct with Lauren Parker as stage manager.
